Following on from our previous update on the rise in real estate opportunities this year, the latest data from MSCI reinforces the building positive sentiment in the UK — while also highlighting emerging markets to watch.
According to MSCI‘s latest Europe Capital Trends report, UK real estate investment volumes surged 26% year-on-year to £59.9bn in 2024, nearly double that of Germany (£30.5bn, -3% YOY), securing its position as the most liquid real estate market in Europe.
However, another standout performer is Poland, which saw an incredible 178% year-on-year growth, reaching £5.2bn. This rapid expansion underscores Poland’s increasing appeal as an investment destination—one we are actively monitoring, given its strong potential.
The UK’s Q4 2024 performance was equally robust, with investment volumes up 52% (£18.5bn)—the highest quarterly growth among major European markets.
2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for European real estate investment!
